Allendale FC compete in the Dorset Saturday Senior League and Dorset Saturday Division One, and is always looking to attract and welcome new players.

Any new players to the area of East Dorset or existing players wanting a change of club should contact the relevant team manager whose details can be found in this site under the teams section, for further information.

I am delighted to announce that I have appointed Josh Sheppard and Tom Sonner as Joint Managers of Allendale FC First Team for the coming season.

Josh Sheppard

Josh has played senior football in the area for a number of years and last year was Assistant Manager of Poole Borough FC. He has ambitions to move into coaching and has an in depth knowledge of local non-league/grass roots football.

Tom Sonner

Tom has played for Poole Town and Hamworthy United in recent seasons and last season played for Poole Borough FC. He holds the FA Coaching Certificate at level 1.Josh and Tom are looking forward to working with Richard Stevens and Dean Grice to form a formidable management team.

I am currently working to establish a four man team to manage the second team and will announce this shortly.

Club Secretary & News Update

Debbie Merritt has very kindly volunteered to carry out this role, subject to approval at the Club’s AGM.

I am very happy that all of the Officers and Managers who stood down at the end of last season, Tim York, Andy Merritt and Carl Fleet, will remain with the club.

Allendale FC 50/50 Lottery

The December lottery draw took place  with John Allgrove winning £75 with £75 going to club funds.The lottery is £10 per month - half to the montly winner and half to the club. For more information from Richard Stevens or  the Allendale FC Facebook Page

Shaun Dixon Tropy 2017

Eleven teams took part in the annual Shaun Dixon Memorial 5-a-side competition at Broadstone Sports Centre on Friday 29th December 2017.

The worthy winners were a team managed by Wayne Smith with Kirk Grice's team as runners up.

A magnificent £300 was raised from the competion.Shaun's family has asked that 50% goes to Forest Holme Hospice and 50% to Jake's Trust Fund

50th Anniversary Celebration

Saturday 19th May 2018 at 7.30pm at Queen Elizabeth's School, Wimborne

A Gourmet Hog Roast with various salads, dressings and sauces followed by dessert and special cheeseboard, Music for those who want to dance.

All Players, Ex-Players, Officials, Supporters, Friends and their Partners are cordially invited to attend the party for our very special Club Early Application is recommended as places are limited.

If you have any memoribilia please forward copies to Eric so that we can display on the evening. Football matches are planned during the afternoon at Redcotts with games being arranged by age/era. This is not a club fund raising event, all revenue will be used to ensure we have a great anniversary.

Formed in 1968 as Wimborne Youth Club FC the club started playing in Dorset League Division 4 East B Supplementary achieving promotion to Division 4 East B in 1971.
